Disable Autostart

ShareMouse is automatically launched with the system startup by the ShareMouse service. This is by design to allow the service to launch ShareMouse in the suitable session, e.g. in the user session if a regular program is remote controlled and in an elevated session if the remote controlled program has been launched with admin rights.

If you do not wish ShareMouse to launch with the system, open the Windows program "Services", right-click the ShareMouse service in the list of services and change the "Startup type" to "Disabled".

You can then manually start ShareMouse like any other regular program.

ShareMouse will not auto-switch between user sessions if not being started by the service. To remote control an application with admin rights, you would need to launch ShareMouse with admin rights manually.
